Most of my clients pay cash. Does Slotivo track that?
Yes, and it is included rather than a paid till add-on. Log a cut as paid in cash, by bank transfer or on your own card terminal, or mark it complimentary. Cash is still how a lot of chairs get paid, so your daily takings and each barber's earnings count it exactly like a card deposit taken online — you are not left reconciling the cash separately.
Can each barber check their schedule and takings on their own phone?
Yes! Every barber gets access to the Slotivo Pro app on iOS or Android. They can check upcoming bookings, mark no-shows, reschedule clients, and view their individual daily earnings right from the chair.
How do deposits prevent empty chairs and no-shows?
You can set custom deposit requirements (e.g. flat €10 or 25%) via Stripe checkout for popular services like Skin Fades and Cut & Beard Combos. Clients pay upfront, cutting no-shows to near zero.

Irish bank holidays
Add St Brigid’s Day, St Patrick’s Day and the June, August and October bank holidays as closed dates, and clients can’t book you on them. Your booking page runs on Irish time.
VAT on your services
Hairdressing moved to the 9% VAT rate on 1 July 2026. You only have to register for VAT once your services pass €42,500 in a rolling 12 months. Set your prices the way you charge them; Slotivo doesn’t add VAT to your clients’ bookings.
