Memberships

Monthly memberships

A set number of classes a month, or unlimited, billed monthly by card into your own Stripe account until the member cancels.

Intro offers

A first-class-free or new-student code, limited to chosen classes and once per client.

Self-service rescheduling

Clients swap classes themselves

The booking email lets clients move to another time of the same class that still has space, instead of just not turning up.

Booking terms and a cancellation policy linked on the booking page.

What you get

Credits that look after themselves

Slotivo counts every booking against the right pass, so you never reconcile credits by hand.

Packs with optional expiry

Sell 5, 10 or any number of credits, with a use-by date if you want one, limited to the services you choose.

Monthly memberships

A set number of bookings a month, or unlimited, billed monthly by card until the member cancels.

Cancellations give credits back

Credits are worked out from bookings, so a cancelled booking returns its credit with nothing to adjust.

Paid into your own Stripe

Clients buy on your booking page and the money goes to your Stripe account. You can also record a pack sold in person for cash or card.

How passes work

1

Turn on the module

Switch on Passes & memberships in Settings, then create what you sell: packs, memberships, or both.

2

Clients buy and book

Clients sign in, buy on your booking page, and choose their pass when they book. Staff can book a client in with their pass too.

3

See who has what

One list shows every client’s pass, what’s left and when it runs out or renews.

Questions operators ask before switching

Is it only for classes?

No. Passes work for any service, so trainers sell session packs, therapists sell courses of treatments and driving instructors sell lesson blocks. Businesses that run group classes see the word “classes”; everyone else sees “sessions”.

Do clients need an account?

Yes. Clients sign in to buy and use a pass, so nobody else can spend it.

Can memberships bill weekly or yearly?

Not yet. Memberships bill monthly.

Can clients use a pass in the customer app?

Not yet. Passes are bought and used on the web booking page.

Does it cost extra?

No. Passes and memberships are included on every plan, including the free plan. Selling online needs a connected Stripe account.

Running your business in Ireland

The things that are different for Irish salons, clinics and studios.

Priced in euro

Free for one or two staff. Bigger teams pay a flat €6 a month for unlimited staff, billed in euro, so there’s no sterling price to convert.

Irish bank holidays

Add St Brigid’s Day, St Patrick’s Day and the June, August and October bank holidays as closed dates, and clients can’t book you on them. Your booking page runs on Irish time.

VAT on your services

Hairdressing moved to the 9% VAT rate on 1 July 2026. You only have to register for VAT once your services pass €42,500 in a rolling 12 months. Set your prices the way you charge them; Slotivo doesn’t add VAT to your clients’ bookings.

Weighing up Phorest?

Phorest, founded in Dublin, is the name many Irish salons know. It suits larger salons that want marketing built in. Slotivo is for teams that want online booking and deposits without a per-staff bill.
