A Free Booking App for Self-Employed and Chair-Renting Stylists
Rent a chair or work freelance? Keep your own booking page, client list and reminders, separate from the salon’s system. Free for solo stylists — no card, no commission.
Free forever for 1-2 staff. Flat £10/month for larger teams. No marketplace commission.

Your clients should follow you, not the salon
When you rent a chair, the salon’s booking system belongs to the salon. If you move, your client list and their history stay behind. A booking page of your own keeps those relationships yours from day one.
Your clients live in someone else’s system
Leaving a salon often means starting again, because your regulars booked through its app.
Juggling the salon diary and your phone
Some clients book through the salon, some message you directly, and the two diaries drift apart.
Paying for software on top of chair rent
Chair rent is already your biggest cost. Another monthly fee before you are established is hard to justify.
Your own booking business inside someone else’s salon
Everything is under your name: the booking page, the client list and the reminders.
Your own booking page
Clients book you directly at your own link, with your services, prices and the hours you rent the chair.
A client list you own
Every client’s contact details and visit history stay in your account, wherever you work next.
Automatic reminders
Confirmations and reminder emails go out under your business name, not the salon’s.
Deposits on colour work
Ask for a deposit on long colour appointments, paid through Stripe into your own account.
Hours that match your chair days
Set your working days to match the days you rent, and block out anything the salon has booked.
Record what clients pay
Log cash, transfer and card-terminal payments so you know your takings at tax time.
Set up in three steps
Add your services
Cuts, colours and treatments with your own prices and timings.
Set your chair days
Add the days and hours you work so clients can only book when you are there.
Tell your regulars
Send your link to existing clients and put it in your Instagram bio.
Questions self-employed stylists ask
Is it really free, or a trial?
It is free for as long as you are a team of one or two. There is no trial countdown and no card to enter at signup. You only pay if you add a third team member, and then it is one flat monthly fee with unlimited staff.
What does the free plan include?
Your own booking page, unlimited bookings, up to 10 services (add-ons count as services), automatic email reminders, Stripe deposits, intake forms, the Slotivo Pro app to run your diary and the customer app for your clients.
Are there any fees?
Slotivo takes no commission. If you take deposits or payments online, Stripe charges its standard card-processing fee on those payments. Cash, bank transfer and card-terminal payments you record yourself cost nothing.
Can I bring my existing clients across?
Yes. Add clients manually or ask our support team about importing a list. You can also just share your link and let regulars book themselves in.
Will clients know it is my booking page, not the salon’s?
Yes. The page, emails and reminders use your business name. Check your chair-rental agreement for anything about taking bookings independently.
Create your booking page without a card.
Set up your services, staff, opening hours, deposits and optional modules after signup. You can publish when everything is ready.
