When do I get paid?

How money from online payments reaches your bank, why the first payout takes longer, and how to check your balance.

Online payments go into your own Stripe account, not Slotivo's. Stripe then pays them out to your bank automatically. You don't need to do anything to get your money.

The timeline

  • Pending: when a client pays, the money first shows as pending in Stripe. It can't be paid out yet.
  • Available: after Stripe's holding period it becomes available.
  • Paid out: Stripe sends available money to your bank on your payout schedule, and it arrives a day or two later.

Why the first payout takes longer

Stripe usually holds a new account's first payout for around 7 days while it gets to know the business. After that, payouts normally arrive a few working days after each payment. The exact timing is set by Stripe for your country and account.

Why the total is a little less than your bookings

  • Stripe's card fee comes off each payment. It is higher for some cards, for example business cards and cards issued outside the UK.
  • If you only take a deposit, the rest is paid to you in person on the day, so it never goes through Stripe.
  • Refunds come back out of your balance.

Check your balance and payouts

  1. 1Sign in to your Stripe Express dashboard at connect.stripe.com/express_login, using the email you connected with.
  2. 2Your balance shows what is pending and what is available. Payouts lists every payment to your bank, with dates.
  3. 3Each payment shows the fee Stripe took.

Do I need to press anything to transfer my available balance?

No. Stripe pays it out automatically on your next payout date.

Does Slotivo hold any of my money?

No. Payments are made on your own Stripe account and Slotivo takes no commission or platform fee.

My payout hasn't arrived. What should I check?

In your Stripe dashboard, check whether Stripe is asking for more information about your business, and that your bank details are right. Stripe pauses payouts until anything it asks for is sorted.
