Services, prices and timing

How long to allow

Set each service to the time it really takes, not the time you hope it takes. If you need ten minutes to clean down or set up, add it as buffer time on the service rather than making the service longer. Clients can't book into a buffer, and it shows on your calendar.

Prices

• Tick Show as a starting price when the final price depends on the client, for example hair length. The booking page shows "From £45".
• Deposits are worked out from the price you set, so set a real price even if you finalise it on the day.

Add-ons

An add-on is an extra a client can tick when they book, like nail art or a scalp massage. It adds its price and time to the appointment. An add-on can also be bookable on its own. On the Free plan, add-ons count towards your 5 services.

Different prices or times per person

1. 1Edit the team member and open their Services tab.
2. 2Next to a service, enter a price or duration override.
3. 3Clients booking that person see their price and the diary allows their time.

Changing one appointment

To make a single booking shorter or longer, open it in the calendar and choose Edit, then change the length. On a computer or iPad you can also drag the bottom edge of the appointment.

Classes

For classes or group sessions at set times, turn on Group classes in Settings → Optional Modules, set the service to run at scheduled times, and add the sessions in the Class timetable tab.
